Central Maine Motors Auto Group Courtesy Transportation & Rental Policy

We want to make your future service experiences with the Central Maine Motors Auto Group more convenient & user friendly.  When your vehicle is going to be tied up for service, detailing, or body shop repair, we offer the following courtesy shuttle or rental vehicle options.

SHUTTLE VAN

During regular business hours, we offer free shuttle van service to your home or place of work, with pick up available when the work or repair on your vehicle is complete.

RENTAL CARS

Central Maine Motors Auto Group maintains an extensive fleet of new rental vehicles that are available at reasonable competitive daily rates to drivers 21 years of age or more. Read on for more detail on our rate policies.

FIRST YEAR — Customers who purchased their new or used vehicle from the Auto Group will be able to schedule use of a rental at no charge for the first year following their purchase date. This is only applicable when more than 2 hours of service / mechanical or detailing work is scheduled.

Free rental is NOT applicable in collision or body shop repair situations.

AFTER THE FIRST YEAR from purchase, the customer can schedule a rental at a discounted rate of $10./day. (plus 12.5% tax) again only for service/mechanical or detailing work.          ** mileage limits/charges may apply, contact our rental office for details

RETAIL RENTAL RATES

The retail rates for our rentals vary by type of vehicle and range from $35.95. / day + tax (for smaller sedans) up to $69.95 / day + tax (for minivans). Retail rates will apply in situations where the service customer did not purchase their vehicle from one of the Auto Group dealerships. If there is a substantial amount of service work required to complete the needed repair, the rental rates may be reviewed and discounted on a case-by case basis.

BODY SHOP /COLLISION REPAIR

In collision or body shop repair situations, our retail rates will apply. As policies regarding daily rates vary from one insurance company to another, each situation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to meet a mutually agreed upon rate.

RETAIL RENTAL RATES

Occasionally, our rental vehicles can be scheduled for personal use other than during service situations. Possibly a larger vehicle is needed for a family gathering or event. At these times, a rental may be scheduled and our retail rental rates would apply. A lead time of several days or more is requested whenever possible in these situations.
